What Do We Offer
The West Vancouver International Student Program offers:
- Intensive English for students from non-English speaking countries.
- An excellent homestay program for secondary school students.
- Counseling and assistance services for students seeking further educational opportunities after attending our program.
- An International Student advisor available to counsel foreign students.
- Vocational and technical courses which students complete in the West Vancouver School District can lead to certificates in Asia Pacific Studies, Business Education, Automotive Technology, Carpentry, Electronics, Design & Merchandising, Theater (Performing or Technical) and Hospitality and Tourism.
- English as a Second Language programs at elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels.
- Short Term programs all year round for students of all ages.
- Administrator and teacher training.
Tutoring (A Ministry of Education Initiative)
All students registered full time in school may access free on-line tutoring in Math 10, Science 10 or Social Studies 11.
Just click on this link, LearnNowBC click on tutoring, enter your identification number and your FULL LEGAL NAME (in other words, the name that appears on your report card) and you have access to a teacher. If you do not know your identification number (PIN) then please ask at the school office.
